Take control of a powerful Javelin exosuit – a cutting-edge armour designed to maximise the wearer’s offensive and defensive capabilities – and join with up to three friends online as you set off into BioWare’s largest-ever open-world environment.

Traverse vast chasms, sweeping jungles and teeming watery depths as you explore the hostile and highly-dynamic shared world of Anthem. Ever-changing, often hazardous weather conditions, vicious creatures and lawless marauders hamper progress at every turn. Stay vigilant, work with your allies and upgrade your Javelin suit to survive.

Suit up with Javelins

On top of providing incredible offensive and defensive capabilities, Javelins exosuits allow you to move at a spectacular speed, rocket across the skies and roam watery depths. As you play, both your own abilities as a Javelin pilot and the combat capabilities of your exosuits will improve.

Every time you enter the world, you’ll select one of the four models of Javelin: the versatile Ranger, the heavy-hitting Colossus, the mystical Storm, and the lightning-fast Interceptor. While each suit plays differently, they all dish out plenty of firepower.

Ranger

Piloted by both Freelancers and Sentinels, this iconic suit's versatility is what makes it deadly.

With strong offensive capabilities, respectable defense, and something in its arsenal for every situation, the Ranger is the jack-of-all-trades your squad needs.

Storm

The Storm channels the raw energy of the Anthem through its seals to hover over the battlefield and dish-out damage.

With its powerful seals and minimal armour, the Storm is a tempestuous javelin that can challenge the skills of even a veteran lancer.

Interceptor

The Interceptor excels in getting close to deal damage to enemies, then dashing away before they can react.

Unleashing lightning-fast maneuverability to pull off powerful offensive abilities, the Interceptor makes the impossible look easy.

Colossus

If you think subtlety is overrated and want enough artillery to take out a small army, unleash the pure devastation of this hulking war machine.

While each javelin can equip two weapons, the Colossus is the only javelin sturdy enough to wield any of the Heavy Weapons.

Intense team play

Team with up to three other players in cooperative adventures that reward both combined effort and individual skill. Each player’s choice of Javelin exosuit will shape their contribution and strategic role. Seamless and intelligent matchmaking will ensure you can quickly and easily find other players to adventure alongside.

An endless arsenal

The Javelin exosuits – as well as the accompanying gear, weapons and equipment – can be extensively customised. As you rank up and defeat enemies, you’ll complete milestones that unlock myriad personalisation options to turn your Javelins into testaments to your ability.

Anthem’s vast, ever-changing world features unpredictable conditions, hazards and enemies. Over time, Anthem will develop and expand – introducing unique stories, challenges, and world-shaking events.
